Dr. Manuel Garcia received his Bachelor of Science degree from Florida State University. He completed his medical residency at Spectrum Blodgett, Spectrum Butterworth, and St. Mary's Hospital in Grand Rapids, MI, coordinated by the Grand Rapids Medical Education and Research Center (an affiliate of Michigan State University). After graduating as the Chief Resident of the Spectrum Blodgett Campus, he furthered his medical training as a varicose vein specialist. Because of his personal struggles with acne during his high school years, he devoted a portion of his medical career to treating those who also suffer from acne. This passion for managing acne has led to the Acne Center of Lansing.
Dr. Manuel Garcia has earned Diplomate status with the American Board of Phlebology by becoming board certified. He is a member of the American College of Phlebology, American Medical Association, Michigan State Medical Society, American Academy of Cosmetic Surgery, American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery, and Society for Vascular Ultrasound. He is the founder and medical director of VeinsPlus - Center for Comprehensive Vein Care, with office locations in East Lansing, Jackson, and Grand Rapids.
Kimberly Garcia, PA-C received her undergraduate degree in nursing from Florida State University. After working as a cardiovascular operating room nurse at Spectrum Blodgett, Grand Rapids, she furthered her education by completing a Master’s degree at Grand Valley State University’s Physician Assistant program. Her involvement with venous care at VeinsPlus is complemented by her membership in the American College of Phlebology, as well as her acquisition of an RVT degree. Kimberly is a member of the American Academy of Physician Assistants and the Michigan Association of Physician Assistants.
Kimberly has been instrumental in the development of the acne services offered at the Acne Center of Lansing. Her knowledge and compassion for acne is directly reflected in the growth of our acne clinic and services.
